AMB47 Colorado: Thunderstorms

DESCRIPTION: 

• In Colorado: Thunderstorms, get a collection of forest rain and thunder from the summer storms in the high mountains of Colorado. Hear soothing summer rain deep in Aspen groves and thunderous booms rolling down jagged mountain valleys. Hear massive post-rain drips plopping and tiny delicate droplets gently landing on shaking Aspens. Hear soothing deciduous wind sweeping and the magical sound of a million raindrops on green Aspen leaves. 
• This library offers you a collection of temperate forest rain in summer. I hope you enjoy listening to the natural music of the weather as it sings through the high altitude forests of Colorado.

KEY FEATURES:

• Zero wildlife in these recordings. You'll only hear weather.

• Recording Notes: It is extremely difficult to record wildlife-free rain in the summer because birds are so active. I had to record for 24 hours a day for over 7 days to capture 1.2 hours of (mostly) pure rain on green Aspen leaves. Then, I manually de-birded the sparse distant birds in those 1.2 hours (using RX8) to deliver these pristine, wildlife-free rain recordings. If there is a field recording hell, it is the tedious and incredibly time consuming process of de-birding and de-thumping rain recordings.
