    • Part of the 2% is used to purchase carbon offset credits for my travel.

    • 2022 New Mexico Trip – 0.57 tones of carbon created by driving from Philadelphia to New Mexico. 
    • 2021 Iceland Expedition– 3 tons created by flying from Philadelphia to Reykjavík and driving throughout Iceland. 
    • 2021 Colorado Trip – 0.6 tones of carbon created by driving from Philadelphia to Colorado. 
    • 2021 Utah and Colorado Trip – 0.85 tons of carbon created driving to Philadelphia, PA to Utah and Colorado.
    • 2020 Maine Trip – carbon credits were purchased to offset the 0.25 tons of carbon created by Driving from Philadelphia, PA to northern Maine.
    • 2020 Pacific Northwest (Eastern Cascades) Trip – carbon credits were purchased to offset the 1.24 tons of carbon created by flying from Philadelphia, PA to Eastern Cascades, Washington.
    • 2019 Alaska Expedition – carbon credits were purchased to offset the 1.98 tons of carbon created by flying from Philadelphia, PA to Anchorage, AK.
    • 2019 California Trip – carbon credits were purchased to offset the 1.3 tons of carbon created by flying from Philadephia, PA to San Jose, CA.
    • 2018 Great Lakes Trip – Carbon credits were purchased to offset the 0.69 tons of carbon created by driving 3,000 miles.
    • 2017 Pacific Northwest (Olympic Peninsula) Trip – Carbon credits were purchased to offset the 1.4 tons of carbon created by driving 6,000 miles.
    • 2017 Northern Rockies Trip – Carbon credits were purchased to offset the 1.15 tons of carbon created by driving 5,000 miles.
